A man pointed a silver handgun at a female cashier in a
Subway restaurant in Great Moor, Greater Manchester. The man left with £87 in
cash from, the till.

A car windscreen was damaged when a passenger in car leant
out of the window and fired what is believed to be an air pistol or a BB gun
towards another car. No-one was injured in the incident that happened in South
Petherton, Somerset.

with an airgun at Fatfield, Washington, Tyne and Wear.

Stuart Gillies, 63, from Liverpool, Merseyside, was arrested
during a
drugs raid at his home. He was
jailed for seven and a half years for possession of prohibited weapons,
possession of a firearm without a certificate and two counts of possessing
ammunition.

Andre Alexis, 34, terrified Christmas revellers when he pulled
a gun from a holdall at Euston station, London. He took out a 9mm pistol, a Smith
and Weston revolver and some dummy ammunition. The weapons were found to be
deactivated and Alexis was sentenced to 40 weeks suspended for eighteen months.
It was disclosed that Alexis has a long standing mental health problem.
