The Infer Trust makes every effort to record and categorise the firearms incidents reported in the UK but we recognise that it is not a complete record.

If you are aware of a gun incident which is not listed please notify us.  You can do this by either sending us the link for an on line report, or a hard copy of a press article to our address.

Two men armed with a gun attacked a man during the robbery of his home in Greenwich, south London. The balaclava-clad pair entered the property through an open window and demanded cash from the man and his girlfriend, who opened their safe and gave the assailants an expensive watch. When the victim refused to hand over the luxury watch on his wrist, the assailants hit him round the head with a pistol, tied him and his girlfriend up, and escaped with the watch from his wrist, other watches, mobile phones, a tablet, and credit cards from the flat. The couple managed to free themselves and call police, but the male victim was left with a minor head injury for which he required treatment in hospital. The robbers were later captured on CCTV using the stolen credit cards in Peckham, south London and police have appealed for information.
