During the incident one victim was shown a black object inside one of the robbers' jacket which he believed to be a gun.

Joseph Carragher was offered two stolen shotguns by a stranger in Inverness who approached him asking for drugs and then asked him to find a buyer for the weapons. The guns had been taken during a break-in at a house. He pleaded guilty to resetting two shotguns and failing to have a firearms certificate. He will be sentenced next month.
