Warren Williams, aged 20, has been jailed for eight years and two months after pleading guilty to Section 18 wounding and possession of a firearm. In November 2022, Williams shot a man in the leg in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. The victim, who sustained serious injuries, refused to cooperate with police. He has since been jailed for affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place in connection with an incident on the day of the shooting. Williams’ co-defendant, 23-year-old Cole Kelly, was jailed for three years and four months for assisting an offender.
