Summary:

Thomas Gill, aged 29, has been handed a suspended eighteen-month prison sentence and ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work after pleading guilty to having a firearm and ammunition illegally. Police visiting Gill’s home in Great Ouseburn, North Yorkshire, found ammunition scattered around the property and a .22 rifle with a silencer and telescopic sights. The items were being held illegally as Gill's firearms licence was revoked in 2017 after burglars stole guns from him that he had failed to store securely.
