After being convicted of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life, Zak Bowman was jailed for eighteen years, while Leon Clarke and Aaron Darcy each received a sentence of fourteen years. In March 2017, Bowman fired at least three shots from an American Colt revolver at the windows of a property in Birmingham, West Midlands in a drug-related revenge attack. Clarke accompanied Bowman while Darcy waited for them in a van nearby. Earlier that day, Bowman had reportedly been shot at while driving in the city and the property he damaged was linked to the man he believed responsible. On sentencing, the judge said: "These windows had net curtains and therefore the shooter could not have known if anyone was in harm’s way.” |
