Leighton Holt, aged 22, has been jailed for eight-and-a-half years for offences including possession of a firearm. When Holt was remanded in custody in December last year after admitting to two robberies, possession of a knife and assaulting a police officer, his home in Stockbridge, Merseyside was searched and a sawn-off shotgun was discovered on the premises; Holt pleaded guilty to possession of the weapon.
