Armed police attended after a gunman allegedly shot a young man through the window of a car in Peckham, South London. The victim is reported to have suffered facial and hand injuries and remains in a critical condition. The man’s mother, outside whose home the car was parked at the time of the attack, has pleaded for witnesses to come forward.
