A bodyguard protecting the British Foreign Minister, Dominic Raab, allegedly left a loaded semi-automatic Glock 19 pistol on a plane after it landed at Heathrow Airport, Middlesex. The firearm was discovered by a cleaner. A police spokesperson said that the officer involved has since been “removed from operational duties” and that an internal investigation would be carried out. In similar circumstances last year, a bodyguard to former Prime Minister, David Cameron, reportedly left his firearm in a plane toilet. The weapon was discovered by a passenger. |
