Police officers Tasered a man at a flat in St Helens, Merseyside after neighbours heard him assaulting his ex-partner. As they arrived, the man reportedly shouted: “I’m all strapped up. I have a gun and will shoot you. You’re getting blasted.” Officers stormed the bedroom where the woman was being held and used a Taser to subdue the suspect. The man, reportedly high on cocaine, was found to be unarmed.
