A cat has had an eye removed after being shot with an airgun in Plymouth, Devon. Five pellets were removed from his face and body and his owners were told he was lucky to have survived. The cat’s owners found their pet crawling up to the house, his face covered in blood, and initially thought he had been hit by a car. The vet told them that, given the extent of the cat’s wounds, he may have been pinned down or cornered before being shot.
