Lennie St Clare Walters, aged 47 and of no fixed abode, has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to supplying firearms and ammunition, and being found guilty of intending to endanger life. In June last year, police officers witnessed Walters delivering a handgun and fifteen rounds of ammunition to a man in a taxi and, in September 2017, he was seen leaving an address in West Ham, East London where a handgun and ammunition were subsequently found. Forensic evidence and mobile phone analysis linked Walters to both offences and he was arrested in February this year.
