A 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot outside his home in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire. A man allegedly got out of a stolen car and fired up to ten shots at the victim as children played nearby. A police spokesperson appealed for information and said that the man had been targeted. The getaway car was later found burnt out near Glasgow.
