A 29-year-old woman was reportedly shot through a window of her home in Morecambe, Lancashire. The woman reported hearing a knock at her living room window before the glass shattered and she was hit in the face by what police believe to be shotgun pellets. The victim underwent surgery for her injuries, which were serious but not life-threatening. Police have launched an investigation.
